I'll have to weigh in here, all the rarebucky hate???
I know he can be a bit of a scoundrel, I've bought a lot of games from the guy and sold. The game I sold, I definitely gave him for cheap. I knew this, but did it as a gesture of good faith, since I knew I would be wanting stuff from him. When I buy, Did I overpay? I Probably did, he pocketed the difference no doubt, but the guy does a lot of legwork. Sure, I could spend my life on eBay refreshing saved searches, looking at pics w/ microscope, spending thousands and waiting endless times w/ VGA, but to me time is money. The overpayment I send to bucky, I look at it as a fee for the time he wastes, buying crates and cases. I'm not really a reseller at heart, basically every game I've sold I broke even or lose money (go look in my regretful sales thread), I only sell when I have a double of a game or I need money for I game I want even more, and I try to sell the worse condition one. So what do I want with a case of DK 64? Or Killzone? Or any game really.
To me, he's always been a fair guy, never backstabbing, threatening, yelling etc. I don't mind paying the extra to do business with a pro. If he outbids you on something on eBay, then take it like a man. If you can't match the cash, you don't deserve the win. If he snipes a poorly listed game that you wanted, don't be bitter. Anyone is welcome to scour eBay every waking moment. And what, do you think if he stopped doing it, then the games would be available to you? Haha. The real fucks out there are Ladybugpug, Cjmarq, greybox_restoredNES etc. These asswipes make sure nobody but themself gets a game for a fair price. At least w/ rarebucky, I know what I'm getting. He never lied to me about a condition or hid anything. I'd rather deal with the snake I know than the snake I dont. And to top it off, it's easy to point fingers and say reseller, but if you happened to find a factory case of something, are you saying you wouldn't buy it? Or would you buy it and give it out at cost to anyone who asked you for it? Yea right. Anyone here would buy it, sell it for profit. As they say, don't hate the player hate the game.
Pooch, what he did to you with that Kirby 64, very strange. One time I won a game that he wanted, Act Raiser. This was before Dov flooded eBay with them, so it was quite rare. He bugged me to sell it to him or trade it for a bit, but I just said no thanks and that was it. In the case of Kirby, Even though I'm on good terms with the guy, I woulda told him to F*** himself lol. Why are you scared of getting kicked from SGH? That place is nothing but a circle jerk between the mods and admins. They stand in a circle with their hands on eachothers dick, stroking whenever someone posts a pic. There is no worthy posts at all, no1 dares post a recent auction or discuss shit out of feared from being backdoored or outbid by their so called "friends". If they ban you just make a lurker account, pm anyone you want.
The 2nd story, you gotta know whatever you're buying from rarebucky is table scraps. He keeps the top shelf shit for himself. THis is no secret.
